Small businesses are the engines that drive economic development. HCCDC collaborates to create new and expanded business opportunities in our rural community.

The HoChunk Village in Winnebago was developed with HoChunk Inc. and Village Partners  to provide commercial space for office,  retail, and light industrial enterprises. In 2020, the HoChunk Village expanded to add 40 additional acres of infrastructure, making room to accommodate new commercial ventures.

We partner with our affiliated Native CDFI [HoChunk Community Capital, Inc] to provide technical assistance and start-up loans to emerging and expanding small native businesses.
